Well, what a week!
We closed out or revival on Friday night with our 7th annual youth rally. This year was the best ever. About 7 churches joined us, and to tell you the truth, I thought we would not have much over a hundred to attend. But soon we were putting out chairs and then people were standing. There were over 160 in attendance.
Our people did a fine job feeding the kids, and getting them out in time for the service. Our young people did a great job singing. They are going to have to cut a cd soon!! And the skit was very moving, some young people went back to their church telling the pastor about it. It was on having crowns to cast at Jesus feet.
Brother Harrison preached on " Too good to go to hell, but not good enough to go to Heaven! " Tremendous message on the rich young ruler. When the invitation was given the altar was full, and 5 of our young people were saved. Two were adults, but young adults. See church photos of those that followed the Lord in baptism on Sunday night.
Our revival continued on into Sunday morning with three of our recent converts walking the aisle to make their public profession of Christ. Praise the Lord, He is so good!! Looking forward to baptizing these within the next week. Please continue to pray for us!! I want to see souls saved more than ever. What a thrill to see God working in the lives of His people and in the lives of souls!!
